Treviso is not too far away from the Venice airport, so it could be an idea for a last trip before flying back home! Treviso is not only home to the original Tiramisù recipe, but it is famous for its charme and the channels that run throughout town, kind of like in Venice.
The city center is surrounded by the original Renaissance walls. From the Piazza dei Signori you can just wander along the Calmaggiore and the little streets of the city center.
The Canale dei Buranelli offers one of the most beautiful photo spots in the city by the water and was home to the tradesmen from the island of Burano in the Venetian lagoon. Another interesting spot is the Isola della Pescheria, a little floating island within the city which hosts the fish market.
