about the Venue
Le Vescovane is located in the Berici Hills, ten minutes from the center of Vicenza.
The original construction of the building dates back to the 15th century.
But the main reason we chose it for our venue was the quality of the food offered by the Restaurant.

Accomodation for wedding day
Where can you sleep?
Vicenza
Torri di Quartesolo
Vicenza is the closest (20min by car) city to our wedding venue.
We cant recommend any specific accommodation, since we've never slept there.
There seems to be a decent choice on websites like booking.com or Airbnb, so I´d probably start there.
If there are enough people interested, we might organize a bus between Vicenza and Le Vescovane. More information here.
Vicenza is a beautiful historical city, one of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in fact, so its worth spending at least half a day in.
There are are famously 23 Palladio buildings, but If you only have time for one location I would recommend Piazza dei Signori with Basilica Palladiana. Maybe have a coffee or some aperitivo, or see the main square from the roof of the Basilica. Wedding starts at 17 so there is plenty of time for that:)
Also, it would be a crime not to mention Villa Rotonda, its right outside the city.

If you want to save 5 minutes of drive, or would rather stay in a smaller town, Torri di Quartesolo is the place.
Its rather small, but there is some accomodation available.
According to Wikipedia:
[...] The defunct low-cost airline MyAir was headquartered in Torri di Quartesolo.
Torri di Quartesolo has become an important commercial hub in recent years, thanks to the opening in the 1990s of the shopping mall "Le Piramidi", which attracts shoppers from as far as 30 miles away and has spurred a remarkable residential and commercial development. [...]
